At Whitley C of E First School we aim to widen the children's experiences in lots of different ways including by providing a variety of after school clubs. We aim to change these clubs regularly in response to children's interests.
For this half term, we will be offering the following clubs -

Mondays - Messy Church Club (3.30pm - 4.30pm)
Tuesdays - Multiskills Club (3.30pm - 4.30pm)
Wednesdays - Dance Club (3.30pm-4.30pm)
Thursdays - Christmas Cookery Club (3.30pm-4.30pm)

Messy Church Club with Mrs Hardcastle
In Messy Church club the children have have been doing crafts and activities related to the 'I am' sayings of Jesus. The first week was 'I am the light of the world' and we decorated candle holders and made glow in the dark badges and bookmarks. This week was 'I am the vine' so we did grape related activities - a grape crushing game and making our own fruity hedgehogs out of pears and grapes. The results were very cute - and tasty!
