Local History & Community - Early Years

Early Years have loved exploring some of the history of the local community. We enjoyed spending time visiting the old headteacher's home, the old schoolhouse, the old public house and St Helen's church. As well as learning lots of interesting knowledge about these special buildings, we particularly loved spending time with the people who live and work within them. We are so grateful that they shared their time, knowledge and hospitality. We are so lucky to live in such a warm and welcoming community and are proud to be part of the evolving history of our special community in Whitley Chapel!
