The machines were great!
Dan was great at explaining what they did.
To some children they were very familiar!
But others needed a bit more explanation!
Seeing the ewes and the lambs was just wonderful.
and this calf whose Mum was a bit loud until she was reunited with her little one!
Everyone enjoyed feeding the lambs.
They sucked hard!
It felt very special holding them too.
But seeing one being born was just amazing.
The foot dip was fun!

We all had such a lovely trip to the farm! Thank you so much to our kind hosts for the invitation! We enjoyed seeing all the animals up close! The lambs and calves were adorable! We learned so much from Dan, Claire and Jean who were very generous with their time, especially considering their busy schedule, with lambs being born around the clock! The children were keen to share their existing knowledge with them, as well as asking lots of questions to further their knowledge and understanding. We were lucky enough to see lambs being born, as well as feeding and holding them. A wonderful way to spend a sunny spring day!
