Early Years had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year - the year of the dragon! We enjoyed reading the Chinese New Year story about the animals racing to cross the river to have a year of the zodiac named after them. We also sang our happy new year song, performed dragon and lion dances, made money wallets, lanterns (including Chinese symbols), dragon puppets and ordered the animals according to the position they finished the race. We also enjoyed some Chinese food, including fortune cookies! Well done everyone!
